UPDATES FROM WASHINGTON DC. WORLD BANK PARLIAMENTARIAN CONFERENCE.

PROF.STEVE AZAIKI, OON the Yenagoa, kolokuma - Opokuma federal Constituency Member elect is currently in Washington DC in attendance with other African and European parliamentarians in the World Bank Organized Parliamentary Conference.
It's worthy to note that Prof. Steve Azaiki is one of the few Africans invited in the world Bank organized parliamentarians conference, he is a member elect into the House of Representatives. He is an internationally recognized intellectual who has served both locally and internationally. He is among three Nigerians invited to deliberate on parliamentary issues affecting Africa and other continents in the world.
Issues that formed the agenda for the first day of the two days conference where as follows;
1.The fight against corruption in Africa ,
2. Promote laws that empower Youths and Women.
3. Climate change.
Professor Steve Azaiki, OON. Ms Kristalina Georgieva Interim President of the World Bank Group and Chief Executive of the World Bank and Christine Lagarde Managing Director of the IMF were among speakers today at the Parliamentary Conference organized by the World Bank in Washington DC.
We shall update you more of the follow up activities.
