National President Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr announced sweeping changes, including:
Electoral reforms allowing Option A4 or open-secret ballot voting.
Leadership age bracket fixed at 18–45 years.
Six votes allotted to diaspora chapters.
Full inclusiveness for persons with disabilities in zonal and national offices.
He also unveiled two landmark projects - a 2,500-capacity National Conference & Event Centre and a Skills Development & Training Centre - to boost IYC’s independence and sustainability.
Delegates described the resolutions as a bold step for the unity and progress of the Ijaw Nation.
