The sun rises over Sokebolou in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, casting golden light across the training grounds. The rhythmic sound of determined footsteps fills the air as participants push through another day of the Second Batch Tantita Staff Operational Training. Here, trainees are not just running drills, they are mastering the delicate balance between rigorous physical exercises and intensive classroom lessons, all under the guidance of Tantita’s expert facilitators.

This 14-day program, sponsored by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, in partnership with Maton Engineering Nigeria Limited, and guided by Wapetson Services Limited as consultant, is designed to sharpen discipline, build teamwork, and enhance operational readiness. Each morning begins with endurance exercises under the watchful eyes of facilitators, testing both stamina and focus. The afternoons shift to the hall, where impactful lectures on leadership, resilience, and field preparedness challenge the mind as much as the morning drills challenge the body.

Among those coordinating the program are Mr. Peter Wilson, CSO and Admin to the GM of Operations at Tantita, and Mr. Paul Esegoro, Health and Safety Coordinator, along with other staff, ensuring every aspect of the training runs smoothly.

For the trainees, the experience is transforming. One participant shared, “Each day brings new lessons and challenges, but it is preparing us to be better equipped for real operations. We are grateful to the management and facilitators for this training.” Many echoed similar sentiments, praising the management and partners for investing in a program that strengthens both their skills and confidence.

As the second batch of trainees pushes through drills, debates, and practical exercises, it is clear that this training is more than a program, it is a journey of growth, resilience, and preparation for real-world challenges. The energy on the field and in the hall reflects a commitment not just to excellence, but to professionalism, teamwork, and the spirit of continuous improvement.

By the end of the 14 days, these participants will leave not only physically stronger but mentally sharper, ready to meet the demands of the field with confidence and competence.
