As Nigeria celebrates 65 years of independence, the Esther Matthew Tonlagha (EMT) Foundation chose to mark the occasion with acts of kindness and community service across the Niger Delta.
Today, leading the distribution on behalf of the EMT Foundation, the Miss Benikrukru Carnival Queens, reigning queen Miss Destiny Tamaramiesinde Newyear, Okirika Gift Sunday, Prisca Miesinde Sibete, and Torusei Faith, visited the Kings Kids Compassion Home Orphanage in Uvwie, Delta State, donating food items and essential provisions to support the children. Smiles and gratitude filled the air as the team engaged with the young residents, bringing hope, encouragement, and joy to their day.
The spirit of giving extended to the streets of Effurun Roundabout, where food, drinks, and water were distributed to beggars and the needy, providing relief and joy to many during the Independence Day celebrations.
