APC BRASS WARD 4 WELCOME HON. WATSON TO THE PARTY

It was celebration galore as staunch members of the All Progressives Congress, APC joined by other party members and political family of the assured prosperity team collapse together in unity to welcome home the Bayelsa State, Community Development Commissioner, Hon. Alfred Belmote Watson to the Party, in Okpoama-Brass.

The seamless marriage of political unity was graced by former member of the State House of Assembly representing Brass constituency 2, Hon (Dr) Amalanyo Yousuo, the APC Ward 4 Chairman, Hon David Joel and other party stalwarts in attendance.

Hon (Dr) Amalanyo Yousuo speaking to newsmen shortly after welcoming the Community Development Commissioner and his faithfuls to the All Progressives Congress in the Ward noted that with this move, politics of bitterness, disunity and unrest should be discouraged in the Ward as he promised to work assiduously for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and follow the direction of the Governor, Senator Douye Diri in bringing dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.

The APC Ward 4 Chairman, Hon David Joel expressed joy for the reunion noting that this gesture has simplified the political equation in Brass Local Government Area to deliver 100 percent votes during the electioneering period in unity and progress for the development of the Ward.

The APC Chairman who expressed optimism while welcoming the former main opposition to the APC in the Ward noted that the marriage between APC and former members of PDP in the ward will promote unity, oneness and cohesion for the positive development of the Local government area and the State in general.

Speaking shortly after receiving broom and other insignia's of the APC party at the Ward 4 headquarters in Okpoama, Brass Local Government Area , Hon. Alfred Belmote Watson lauded Governor Douye Diri, the leader of APC in the State for his vision and foresight not to mortgage the development of the State and his followers for his personal gains but standing strong as captain of the renewed hope assured prosperity captain of development in line with his promise not to play politics with the development of the State by promoting political,socio economic and human capital harmonization across all boards.

Hon Watson Alfred Belemote, Former Lawmaker who represented Brass Constituency 2 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly said he is fulfilled with the marmoured crowd that joined him to the All Progressives Congress as a sign of renewed vigor and clear scorecard of the testament of service to the people in the grassroot while urging his followers to remain faithful and work wholehearted with the APC in the Ward for the overall interest of the Ward recognizing Governor Douye Diri as a worthy captain and pathfinder.

The highlight of the formal reception was the handing over of the APC party insignia to the former PDP members and unity dance in the streets of Okpoama signalling a new beginning for the people of Okpoama in Brass Local Government Area, Bayelsa State.
