The Chairman of the Bayelsa State Environmental Sanitation Authority, High Chief Timothy Diekivie Itiedu, played host to the management team of @Official CitiBoi, led by the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of CitiBoi Football Club, Mr. Igere Citiboi Glory, at his office in Yenagoa, today.

The courtesy visit was to formally express appreciation to High Chief Timothy for his physical presence and unwavering support during the CitiBoi Inter-LGA Super League Final, which took place on June 29, 2025, at Azikoro Community.

Beyond the words of gratitude, the meeting served as a platform for the exchange of ideas on potential collaborations, particularly towards improving future editions of the tournament. A key focus of discussion was the development of a standard football pitch in Azikoro Town, to elevate the quality and experience of the competition.

In response, High Chief Timothy expressed sincere appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots sports development. He further demonstrated his support by delegating a team to accompany the CitiBoi FC management on an on-the-spot inspection of the proposed site for a mini-sports stadium in Azikoro Community.

The meeting concluded on a highly positive note, laying the groundwork for impactful partnerships aimed at community development through sports.
