The 2025 Senior Secondary School Students (SSS 3) Summer Classes/Mentorship and Leadership Training which held at the Captain Samuel Timinipre Owonaro Ijaw National Academy, Kaiama came to a close today.

The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Education Bayelsa State, Hon. Dr. Emelah Gentle speaking at the closing ceremony hailed the 2025 participants for their brilliant conduct all through the four weeks of intense mentorship, learning and sporting activities describing them as "Future Leaders of Bayelsa State".

Dr Gentle Emelah also thanked the Miracle Governor, Senator Douye Diri for making the 2025 camping a success.

Dr. Gentle Emelah appreciates everyone, Members of the education team, Stakeholders of the education team, Principals, Vice Principals and Teachers of our Model Schools who have worked tirelessly to bring this programme to a success. He also thanked the Director General, Directorate of Special Education & Policy Services, Ms. Biboye Ogola, for her selfless service and sacrifice.

The day featured, cultural display, dance presentation, wrestling, parade, presentation of prizes to deserving scholars among other colorful activities.
