You've done remarkably well, APC chieftain, Yousuo, felicitates Ogbuku on his birthday

Hon. Oberiakuma Afatei Yousuo, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State, has felicitated Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

In a goodwill message made available to Mangrovepen on Tuesday, Yousuo extolled Ogbuku for his leadership and commitment to the development of the oil-rich Niger Delta region.

"You've done remarkably well for yourself and the people of the Niger Delta," Yousuo said, adding that "In my opinion, there has never been a better MD of NDDC.”

Yousuo, who is the leader of the APC in Brass Constituency III (Akassa Clan), expressed that Ogbuku has “outperformed others who led the agency, by bringing tangible benefits to our largely rural communities."

He said Akassa people are enjoying the positive impact of NDDC projects in their communities, especially the solar-powered street lights and other beneficial initiatives and empowerment packages he has facilitated since his appointment.

Yousuo seized the opportunity to laud Ogbuku for earlier visiting Sangana to assess the ravaging coastal erosion firsthand and expressed confidence that NDDC will soon provide a lasting solution to the ecological problem under his leadership.

"On behalf of my immediate family and the entire APC family in Akassa Clan, I wish you continued health, inspiration, and the strength to do even more for the people of the Niger Delta. Happy birthday and may God continue to be with you Sir,” he prayed.
