Hon. Onniye Joins Wife for Monthly Council Prayer

The Executive Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Hon. Onniye Isaac has joined his wife, Bishop Mrs. Victoria Onniye, for the monthly prayer meeting dedicated to committing the council into God’s hands for peace, growth, and development.

Speaking during the service, Hon. Onniye expressed gratitude to God for His preservation and peace upon the people of Ekeremor and Bayelsa State.

He reaffirmed his belief that true progress can only be achieved when leaders and citizens put God first.

Addressing the women of the LGA, the Chairman encouraged them to continually embrace the Word of God, emulate Christ, and uphold prayers as a guiding pillar for the home, community, and governance.

He further appreciated the women of the council for joining his wife in the worship service at the council chapel.

Bishop Mrs. Victoria Onniye ministered powerfully during the meeting, preaching and teaching from the Scriptures to inspire and strengthen the faith of participants.

During the intercessory prayers, the council women lifted up the leaders of the local government area, including politicians, paramount rulers, CDC chairmen, youth leaders, and women leaders.

They also prayed for the Governor, His Excellency Senator Douye Diri, and his Deputy, His Excellency Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, as well as the Executive Cabinet, Legislative Arm, National Assembly, and the entire people of Bayelsa State.
