. The delegation, led by its Chairman, Mr. Asuenfien Osain, stated that the purpose of the courtesy visit was to familiarize themselves with me and to brief me on some critical issues affecting the Forum.

During our discussion, they highlighted the absence of a Secretariat for the Forum, a challenge that has made coordination and administrative activities difficult. They also informed me that the tenure of some CDC Chairmen has expired and preparations are underway to conduct elections soon. They requested support in ensuring the presence of security operatives during the election, to guarantee a peaceful and orderly process.

In response, I assured them of my commitment to the growth and stability of the Forum. I pledged to make the necessary arrangements for security personnel to be on ground during the election. Regarding the Secretariat, I encouraged them to identify a suitable office space, and I gave my word to take full responsibility for the bills and furnishing of the Secretariat.

The Forum also used the opportunity to convey a goodwill message to my Boss and Principal, Hon. Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri, Ph.D., appreciating his continuous investments and contributions toward the development of the Epie-Atissa twin kingdom.

I am grateful for the visit and reaffirm my willingness to continually support initiatives that promote unity, progress, and effective community leadership.
