The Prosperity Government approved the awards of contracts for the construction of the following infrastructures:

1. Construction of 18.7km Agbere-Abuetor-Osifo-Osekwenike-Asamabiri-Ekperiwari-Elemebiri Road;

2. Construction of 28km Okumbiri-Eriama-Kunu-Adagbabiri, Ogbosuware-Egbema-Angalabiri road and;

3. Construction of a 5,000 seater mini stadium at Sampou, Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area.

Governor disclosed that the construction of the aforementioned 18.7km road would be in partnership with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

"The state government will contribute 60 percent funding while NDDC takes up 40 percent of the total cost of the project" he said.
