Following resolutions reached at the Expanded National Executive Council Meeting of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide held on the 6th August 2025 at the national Secretariat Yenagoa Bayelsa state. All members of the Ijaw Youth Council are hereby notified of the upcoming National Convention scheduled as follows:
Date: 23rd August 2025.
Time: 10.am prompt
Venue: Ijaw house Yenagoa Bayelsa state
The National Convention shall deliberate on matters of critical importance to the Ijaw Nation, including but not limited to:
-State of council
- Review and adoption of area's of concern on the Odi Constitution
All Zones, Chapter, and Affiliate bodies of the Ijaw Youth Council are mandated to mobilize their members for full participation.
This notice serves as a formal invitation to all eligible members to attend and contribute meaningfully to the unity, progress, and development of the Ijaw Nation.
