Today, I received the report of accreditation for new programmes in our four state-owned tertiary institutions

- Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Amassoma, Bayelsa Medical University, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Polytechnic, Aleibiri, Ekeremor Local Government Area and Isaac Jasper Boro College of Education, Sagbama town.

It gladdens my heart that the accreditation exercise was successful and has boosted the quality of education in our schools.

This cheering news is a product of our huge investments in both infrastructure and human resources on which the various accreditation panels based their assessments.

Let me appreciate the heads of the various institutions for their dedication to the implementation of the educational policies in our Assured Prosperity Agenda.

Indeed, education remains a top priority of our administration.
