Hon. Onniye Wins Best Nigerian Local Government Chairman Award (LOGMA 2025)

The Executive Chairman of Ekeremor Local Government Area, Hon. Onniye Isaac Ziminiyain has been conferred with the distinguished honour of Best Nigerian Local Government Chairman on Education at the Local Government Chairmen Merit Award (LOGMA 2025).

This recognition, which was keenly contested by Chairmen across the federation, was conferred on Hon. Onniye following his exceptional performance and commitment to advancing education since his assumption of office as Executive Chairman.

Under his administration, numerous educational interventions have been initiated, including scholarship programmes covering Doctoral (PhD), Master’s, and undergraduate studies.

In addition, his office has consistently facilitated the enrollment of WAEC, NECO, and JAMB forms for indigenes of Ekeremor Local Government Area, thereby easing access to academic opportunities for the youth.

The award prize includes a 10-seater bus, with the official conferment ceremony scheduled to hold in Abuja.
