I met him and Nancy through Gen. Paul Eris aka Ogunboss, as an interested party for Nancy to get proper medical treatment, and justice through the Bayelsa State Government.

I facilitated a meeting with Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs Gloria Diri, through Director of Domestic (DOD), Barr. John Sambo for the Bayelsa State Government to handle the issue as expected.

Unknown to me and other people involved, this young man used his girlfriend (one Precious by name) to claim as an elder sister to Nancy, and the Precious acted exactly in the meeting.

The government uncovered the false claim, and restricted Precious from seeing Nancy in the government private hospital moving forward. But Livinus wasn't restricted despite the lies.

Myself and Livinus agreed to go and see Nancy in the hospital on Friday morning last week, but he said he was traveling to Owerri, Imo State, saying that he has a pressing issue to handle.

I visited the hospital with Barr. John Sambo, Dr. Liverpool, Barr. Diseye, and others to assess Nancy's condition. I put a call across to Livinus and Ogunboss to speak with her on the phone.

Then, myself and Livinus agreed to see Nancy on Monday this week once he returns from his journey. On Monday morning, I texted him on whatsapp to know when we were visiting.

Livinus didn't replied my text for hours. He later texted me that he was in Bayelsa State Police Command. Then, I called him and asked why, he started making all sorts of statements.

I tried my possible best to calm him down, but he continued by threatening to tell his lawyer to sue the state government, insinuating that the government and police was hiding something.

Then, I told him that the government is hiding nothing, noting that our interest is for Nancy to get proper medical attention and justice for the inhumane, but he hanged up the call on me.

Then, I put a call across to Barr. Diseye as a representative of the state government through the Gender Response Initiative Team (GRIT). Then, she explained to me what transpired.

She said Livinus is angry simply because he wasn't allowed to have a private conversation with Nancy at the state police command, where Nancy was to be taken to the scene of crime.

She added that Livinus even confronted the police at the state command for not allowing him to have a private conversation with Nancy.

Then, I called Livinus again to explain why he was not allowed to have a private conversation with Nancy at the state police command, and he started threatening to sue the government.

He didn't give me a listening ear. He was rather insinuating that the government was trying to cover up the issue because, Nancy is from Imo State, while the suspects are from Bayelsa.

Note: Livinus has been trying to tribalize the unfortunate incident, that Nancy was beaten up because she is from Igbo, while the suspects are Ijaws in all his reports on the cyberspace.

I am making all explanations because I came a video where Livinus accused the government of depriving him access to Nancy, saying that the government wants to cover up the issue.

Without biasness, I am very sure that Livinus won't try this nonsense he is doing with the Bayelsa State Government, if it was the Imo State Government handling this incident.

The ugly incident occurred in Bayelsa. And as a responsible government, the government has intervened to ensure that Nancy gets proper medical attention, and ensure justice is served.

But this young man, Livinus Nwosu is trying his possible best to thwart the efforts of the state government to create a bad image/reputation.
