The Bayelsa APC Grassroot Forum is shocked and concerned about the detention of Mr. Aye S.O. Egberi, Bayelsa APC Media Head. We demand his unconditional and immediate release from Bayelsa prison.

This unjust detention undermines democratic principles, freedom of expression, and press freedom. We call on authorities to respect citizens' rights and create a safe environment for democratic values to thrive.

As a husband and father with a pregnant wife and young children, Mr. Egberi's detention causes undue hardship on his family. We urge authorities to ensure his safe return to his family and duties, allowing his children to receive the care and guidance they need.
