The Chairman of the Bayelsa State Volunteers, High Chief Oyinkuro Lucky Asanakpo, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to High Chief Asari Timipere Kerry on his successful inauguration as Chairman of the National Freight Haulers Association, Bayelsa State Chapter.

The inauguration, which was conducted by the National Vice President (South-South) of the Association, Hon. Dr. Liege Lord Keston Okoro, took place at the Conference Hall of Golden Tulip Resort, Yenagoa. The event attracted dignitaries, stakeholders, and representatives of security agencies across the state.

High Chief Asanakpo, who attended and actively participated in the program in his capacity as head of one of the state’s security agencies, commended High Chief Kerry for his dedication to the transportation and logistics sector. He described Kerry’s emergence as Chairman as a major boost to the association and to Bayelsa State’s economic development.

He further expressed confidence that under the new leadership, the association will foster unity, progress, and accountability, thereby strengthening the freight and haulage industry in the state.

High Chief Asanakpo also reiterated the unwavering readiness of the Bayelsa State Volunteers to continue collaborating with other security agencies in ensuring peace, order, and a conducive environment for business growth and sustainable development in Bayelsa State.
