Former lawmaker Fred Obua resigns from PDP

Hon. Azibapu Fred Obua, immediate Past Member of the House of Representatives who represented Ogbia Federal Constituency, has denounced membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fred Obua, a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, made the denunciation in a Letter addressed to the Chairman of PDP Ward Seven, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

The politician in the letter stated that he has no regrets, having been a former Commissioner for Special Projects and immediate past Member of the House of Representatives, Ogbia Federal Constituency under the platform of the Party and previously contributing to its development.

He said his idea of politics is about development, stressing that politics, being local, is not an end but a means to an end and that those with same political ideas and ideals always meet.

Fred Obua who identified with Governor Douye Diri’s decision and wisdom in resigning from the PDP, thanked his supporters and followers across Ogbia Local Government Area and Bayelsa State for embracing the new development.
