1. Mobilized youths across participating communities to clear and prepare their football fields. We also supported one of our host communities with a brand-new grass-cutting machine worth over ₦100,000.
2. Engaged community youths as security and admin personnel to ensure the smooth running of matches in their respective centers.
3. Provided branded jerseys for all 32 registered teams across Ogbia land.
4. Supplied new football nets and balls to the host communities.
5. Offered light refreshments to players, coaches, and match officials during games.
6. Established an ad-hoc scouting team to identify and nurture young, disciplined, and talented players.
7. With a hardworking media team in place, the visibility and reach of the tournament have continued to grow exponentially.
We are proud of how far we’ve come, and even prouder of the impact we’re making.
Special appreciation to the Ogbia Brotherhood Youth Council.(OBYC) for their consistent support and presence in every matchday.
Big thank you to Igere Citiboi Glory for this timely initiative of using sports as a tool to foster peace, unity, and youth empowerment in Ogbia land.
