This approval was given at the 176th State Executive Council meeting presided by Governor Douye Diri.
Briefing newsmen after the meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Mrs. Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai, also announced the approval of a 5,000 seater mini stadium at the cost of N18.9 billion to be built at Sampou in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area.
The 18.7 km Agbere-Abuetor-Elemebiri road project at the cost of N110 billion would be done on a 60-40 percent counterpart funding between the State Government and the NDDC respectively.
At the briefing along with the Information Commissioner were Works and Infrastructure commissioner, Moses Teibowei and Daniel Igali of Sports Development.
