The thanksgiving, held in fulfillment of a sacred vow made by his late mother, featured powerful traditional rituals, the appearance of the Aziza masquerade, and a grand communal feast that united people from different kingdoms across the Niger Delta.
Dignitaries present included High Chief Dennis Otuaro, Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP); High Chief Kestin Pondi, MD Tantita Security Services; and High Chief Macdonald Igbadiwei, Prime Minister of Gbaraun Kingdom, among others.
Tompolo, surrounded by family, friends, and traditional leaders, offered heartfelt prayers for peace, unity, and prosperity for the Ijaw Nation and the entire Niger Delta region.
