..........AS HE DONATES WHEELCHAIRS, TEXTBOOKS, EYEGLASSES, UMBRELLAS, CLUTCHES AND CASH GIFTS TO THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED IN COMMEMORATION OF HIS BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY
The member representing Kolokuma/ Opokuma Constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Werinipre Pamoh, has donated textbooks worth millions of Naira to 10 schools in his Constituency.
The lawmaker equally donated Wheelchairs, eyeglasses, umbrellas, Crushes and Cash to the physically challenged to boost their welfare conditions.
The gesture was part of the activities marking his birthday anniversary celebrations in Yenagoa.
Speaking during the event on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at the House of Assembly Quarters Onopa, Hon. Pamoh, noted that celebrating with the people he is serving was a way of acknowledging their importance as well as extending them love, care and respect as humans.
He stated that showing love and care to his constituents and making positive impacts in their lives bring him fulfillment and pride hence the get-together.
Earlier, the Chairman of the occasion/Special Adviser to the Governor on Inter Party Relations, Hon.Barr Suokiri Jackson PhD, expressed appreciation to Hon. Werinipre Pamoh for his kind gesture and urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the exercise books, Crushes and the wheelchairs as well as the cash donations.
He noted that Hon. Pamoh's action was a testament to show his love and commitment to the people he represents. He used the occasion to urge other political leaders in the state to emulate Hon Pamoh to impact on the lives of their people.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, Miss Kate Worm, who was overwhelmed with happiness thanked Hon. Pamoh for his kindness and dedication to their well-being, described the gesture as unprecedented.
The schools that benefited from the generous donations include, Government Girls Grammar School, Government Secondary School Odi, Community Secondary School Sampou, Federal Government College Odi, Ijaw National Academy (INA) Kaiama, Anglican Girls Secondary School Kaiama, Happy Primary and Secondary School Kaiama, and Ibudo Secondary School Kaiama.
